These are designed to meet the filtration, illumination, Noise and vibration requirement and US federal standard 209 B BS 5290, providing air to meet class 100 (class1) conditions. to the extent applicable. This vertical laminar down flow configuration find extensive application in Scientific, Medical and Industrial application where localized high quality, clean working environment is essential. These are designed to provides an atmosphere free from airborne particles with laminar airflow flowing downward the worktable. It provides effective and satisfactory long term sterile working conditions for microbiological investigation, tissue culture studies. Toxic preparation etc. On vertical laminar flow is used, and the experiment held do not require eye hand co-ordination. In semi-mechanized procedures this equipment is frequently' used.
Construction
- Cabinet : Laminar airflow cabinet is constructed out of 18 mm Duro Board Teak Wood, which is terminate and insect proof fire and weather resistant, Front, Back, Top and exterior surfaces are covered with white DECOLAM or FORMICA interior surfaces are epoxy painted.
- Upper Chamber : Its top is fitted with pre-filters for filtration. it is made of re-useable synthetic fiberglass, and is washable also. It retains all major impurities of air sucked inside the laminar flow.
- Main Chamber : It consists of main work surface, which is made of MICA TOP or STAINLESS STEEL.
- Side Panels : Made of 6-mm thick transparent Plexiglass framed in anodized aluminum angle frame.
- Front Panels : Made of folding transparent glass. It can be folded upwards while working inside the main chamber.
- Protective Screen : Non-Shedding, non-corrosive protects filters, white stove painted protective screen in the main chamber.
- Exhaust Fan : Exhaust is fitted below the main chamber it sucks the used air from the main chamber and throws out of the laminar flow. An exhaust do not is also provided here, which takes this air out of the room. Exhaust can be provided at an extra cost. (Optional)
- Airflow And Filtration : Laminar flow principle involves double filtration of air. Atmospheric air is drawn through prefilter and is made to pass through highly effective HEPA FILTER efficiency particular air. Filter having efficiency rating as high as 99.99% with cold DOP and 99.97% hot DOP. Thus retaining all airborne particles of size 0.3 micron and larger. Double filtered air blows in laminar flow through the work table at designed velocity of 90ft.min +20%.
- Blower Motor Assembly : Duly balanced, direct drive motor blower units sized to provide adequate airflow volume over the entire surface of HEPA filter.
- Lighting : Work are properly illuminated by diffused glare free fluorescent light.
- UV Germicidical Light : Are fitted inside the cabinet / work-area.
- Easy Mobility : The whole body is provided with four Nos. castor wheels at the bottom for easy mobility to any place.
